New gigs!

September 09 Varietease JPG

I’ve booked some new gigs for September – for more details check the Calendar page.

We closed the New American Review this past weekend.  It was the first run of shows I’ve done since I was a working actress and improviser many moons ago.  While the show was delightful, I think my favorite part of the whole gig was hanging out with the lovely cast before, during and after the show.  Coo d’Twat and her Kansas posse are responsible for a somewhat tipsy unofficial wrap part over at Carol’s Pub.  Burlesque people are the best people.

This weekend I will be debuting my Beijing Opera solo, lovingly referred to by me as “Lady Pung Pung.”  I have spent a big chunk of my time the past two weeks finishing up costume pieces for this number – it will be sparkly and shiny if I can help it.  The show is free and the drinks are cheap, so stop by Exit after midnight and be dazzled by our Absolut Sex-iness.
